World radio chart–topping artist Vineet Singh Hukmani has become the first singer globally to release a musical tribute honoring the legendary legacy of Michael Jackson, ahead of the much-anticipated Michael Jackson biopic scheduled for global release on April 24, 2026.

Michael Jackson’s music, and how he reimagined the King of Pop’s classics through a distinctly Indian musical lens.
Talking about the same, the artist was quoted saying, “There is no one more influential and recognized around the world than
Michael Jackson. He changed the entertainment landscape dramatically with his songs, his dance moves, and his videos. Both as a kid and now as an adult, I have longed to be a part of his journey, and this respectful tribute to him is such a blessing. I can’t wait to watch the movie and I wish Antoine Fuqua, Jaafar Jackson, Sony Music and the entire team great success for the upcoming biopic.”
Opening up on what makes the tribute unique, “I wanted to be respectful, but also creative. These are officially licensed, reimagined covers of Billie Jean, Beat It, and Thriller, blending Indian instruments like sitar and tabla with contemporary arrangements and soulful, easy-going vocals in English. The goal was to create something fresh that still honors the spirit of Michael’s originals.”

I collaborated with the Florida-based Alternative Pop band All Strung Out, who are
longtime
Michael Jackson fans themselves. It was important for me that this tribute felt global — just like Michael’s influence.
