This means runners of all abilities can take part, elite athletes and first-timers alike, on what is a platform accessible for one and all.

You can run at an official event location or anywhere in the world using the Wings for Life World Run App, which includes a Virtual Catcher Car. This makes it one of the most accessible races ever.

The Catcher Car is a moving finish line. It starts 30 minutes after the runners begin and gradually increases its speed, chasing participants from behind. A physical car is used at major race locations, whilst virtually, the Wings for Life World Run App, with audio cues and tracking to simulate the car’s approach.
