Ultraviolette has launched the F77 motorcycles in the United Kingdom through a distribution partnership with MotoMondo. The partnership was announced earlier this year, and retail of the two F77 models has now begun. MotoMondo, a Netherlands-based motorcycle distributor with a strong presence across Europe, is also responsible for taking Ultraviolette to multiple other European markets.

Ultraviolette F77 launched in UK

Only top-spec Recon variants of both models currently on sale

Earlier this year, Ultraviolette became the first Indian electric two-wheeler startup to enter multiple countries in the European market. It announced plans to expand into Germany, France, the UK, Ireland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The company has now sent out a press release confirming that retail of the F77 Mach 2 and F77 SuperStreet – both offered solely in the top-spec Recon variant – has officially begun.

The motorcycles were showcased at Motorcycle Live, the UK’s biggest motorcycle show, alongside the brand’s other products including the Tesseract, Shockwave, F99, and the recently introduced X-47.

The UK has a rich motorcycling culture, and it will be interesting to see how Ultraviolette’s products fit into this market. As expected, pricing is at a premium compared to India, with the F77 Mach 2 listed at £8,499 (Rs 9.91 lakh) and the F77 SuperStreet at £8,799 (Rs 10.26 lakh) on the UK website.
