The racing edition only introduces cosmetic changes to the TVS Apache RTR 160 and it remains mechanically unchanged.
TVS has launched an all new colour scheme for the Apache RTR 160 called the “Racing Edition”. This new shade comes in matte black along with red race inspired graphics. Additionally TVS has also given this new colour scheme faux carbon fibre inserts located on the tank, tail, number plate holder and side panels. TVS has also equipped with a set of wheels that are now finished in red. The motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged and receives only cosmetic updates.
The Apache RTR 160 continues to be powered by a 159cc single-cylinder that produces 16.04hp at 8,750rpm and 13.85Nm at 7,000rpm. In terms of features, it’s equipped with a LCD instrument cluster that also supports bluetooth connectivity. It’s also equipped with three riding modes; Sport, Urban and Rain. The TVS Apache RTR 160 costs Rs 1.28 lakh which is Rs 1.500 more than the standard Apache RTR 160.
