TVS has updated the Apache RTR 160 4V with a new range-topping variant that ships with a shiny golden USD fork, priced at Rs 1.40 lakh. This is the most expensive Apache 160 4V variant, costing Rs 500 more than the dual-channel ABS variant.

  1. Costs the same as the equivalent Bajaj Pulsar N160
  2. At 146kg, weighs the same as most other variants
  3. Remains unchanged otherwise, available in 3 colours

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: gets USD fork now

With competitors from Hero and Bajaj offering a USD fork in this segment, TVS too has joined this bandwagon and given its 160cc sporty commuter a golden USD fork. The USD fork seems to be an in-demand feature with Indian buyers, which is why even smaller, cost-effective commuters have started shipping with them.

Aside from the 37mm USD fork, the Apache RTR 160 4V remains virtually the same as it has been. That means you get an air/oil-cooled, 159.7cc, single-cylinder motor making 17.55hp and 14.73Nm of torque. At 146kg, this variant also weighs the same as the other variants of the Apache 160 4V. The bike also comes with 3 riding modes – Sport, Urban and Rain. This top variant with the USD fork is also one of only two variants to come with dual-channel ABS.

At Rs 1.40 lakh, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V USD fork variant costs exactly the same as its chief rival, the Bajaj Pulsar N160. Hero’s Xtreme 160R 4V costs marginally less than the aforementioned two bikes at Rs 1.39 lakh.

All prices ex-showroom, Delhi
