Trump declared that Iran’s “air defence, Air Force, Navy, and Leadership is gone” and said he had rejected Iran’s offer for a deal as “Too Late,” while touting the US’ vast stockpile of weapons and claiming it is sufficient to fight wars “forever.”

US President Donald Trump on Monday declared that Iran’s “air defence, Air Force, Navy, and Leadership is gone” and said he had rejected Iran’s offer for a deal as “Too Late,” while touting the United States’ vast stockpile of weapons and claiming it is sufficient to fight wars “forever.”

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, “They want to talk. I said ‘Too Late!’”

The statement coincided with intensified US-Israeli military strikes on Iran and included a link to an opinion piece by columnist Marc Thiessen in Washington Post defending Trump’s actions.

The article framed the attacks not as the start of a “forever war” but as the culmination of a 47-year-long conflict between the United States and the Iranian regime.

It suggested that sustained air strikes could dismantle Iran’s military and leadership infrastructure without deploying US ground forces, describing the strategy as a “Trump Doctrine” combining sanctions, diplomacy, and targeted force.

Reports indicate that the strikes have killed several senior Iranian leaders, including Major Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces; Gen. Mohammad Pakpour, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps; Brig. Gen. Mohammad Shirazi, Head of the Military Office; Aziz Nasirzadeh, Minister of Defense; Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran’s Defense Council; and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Earlier Monday, US military officials confirmed the destruction of command posts of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards along with Iranian air defense systems and missile launch sites.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military said it targeted multiple Iranian intelligence offices and command centers as operations continued across the country.

In another social media post overnight, Trump also emphasised the scale of US military readiness, claiming the country has enough stockpiled weapons to fight wars “forever.”

He said there was a “virtually unlimited supply” of munitions, adding that “wars can be fought forever, and very successfully, using just these supplies.”

He wrote, “The United States is stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!!”
