US President Donald Trump on Thursday announced that he plans to halt migration from what he described as “third world countries,” a day after an Afghan national allegedly shot two National Guard soldiers in Washington.
“I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover,” Trump said in a social media post.
He further warned that he would overturn “millions” of admissions issued under Joe Biden and vowed to “remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States.”
