In a recent turn of events, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez filed a plea in the Supreme Court in a Rs 215 crore money laundering case linked with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. A bench of Justices Dipankar Datta and Augustine George Masih will be hearing the actress’ plea on September 22.
Over the last few years, the actress has been denying all the allegations levied against her and maintained how she she was unaware of the accused’s identity. She was named one of the frauds in the money laundering case the conman was involved in.
