The actress was quoted saying in a statement, “Being stuck at the airport for more than 10 hours with no clear communication or assistance from the airline is incredibly frustrating.”
The crisis Indigo airlines is currently facing is known to all and many people have shared their ordeal on social media. Delayed flights, stranded passengers, pilot crisis and much more. One such stranded passenger happens to be Akshay Kumar’s ‘Garam Masala’ co-star Nikita Rawal.
The actress was quoted saying in a statement, “Being stuck at the airport for more than 10 hours with no clear communication or assistance from the airline is incredibly frustrating. Travelling is already stressful, and the way IndiGo handled this situation was completely disappointing.”
She added, ” We were left waiting, anxious, and uncertain about when we could board. Airlines need to remember that passengers are human beings, not just booking numbers, and timely support and empathy go a long way.”
She further added, “I hope IndiGo takes this seriously and works on improving their communication and passenger care. No one should have to go through such a long, exhausting wait without any updates or support.”
Passengers and fellow travelers have echoed similar frustrations online, putting pressure on the airline to provide better customer service in future disruptions.

Vir Das open up Indigo crisis
Vir Das tweeted- “The decent thing to do? The entire senior management of Indigo should be made to take shifts at the airport and stand there. From CEOs to VPs and such. The decision makers. Instead of the terrified junior employees with no power, cabin crew, and ground staff, who have been left to deal with the yelling and screaming.”
