Talking about shooting the first film which officially began in 2003, the actor was quoted saying in a statement, “My memories of working on Khosla Ka Ghosla are that of a purity of script and purpose.”
Actor Parvinn Dabass has officially begun shooting for the much-anticipated sequel Khosla Ka Ghosla! 2, and his excitement is palpable. The actor, who was part of the original cult classic, shared that stepping back into the world of Khosla Ka Ghosla! feels both nostalgic and emotionally rewarding.
Talking about shooting the first film which officially began in 2003, the actor was quoted saying in a statement, “My memories of working on Khosla Ka Ghosla are that of a purity of script and purpose and art and bonding and love between all the actors led by Anupam Kher sir which allowed us to surmount all the challenges why’d were thrown our way during the course of making the cult film Khosla Ka Ghosla.”
He added, “It was very hot also…it was May in Delhi but the heat doesn’t bother me personally as much as the cold we’re shooting in now. I remember no matter how early I had to leave for the shoot…I would wake up and go for a jog, sometimes even at 3:30am, because Dibakar wanted my character very lean and thin and I had to loose a lot of muscle for this role…which I had started doing even before the shoot. The rehearsal period of 4-5 days before the shoot also really helped…most of all I remember the word games we played in between shots…”
“And how the tradition has continued into part 2 as well…the film’s locations were very authentic and we even went to a jail in Rohtak…lots and lots of memories. I think we all had a good feeling about this film but no one could anticipate the heights to which it would continue to rise and the longevity of the film’s success where it has even surpassed being a cult film into a legacy film…the audience’s love for the anticipated sequel has been amazing and i think the whole cast and crew is motivated by that,” said the actor.
