Tata Motors has sold 250,000 EVs in India since late 2019, with the Nexon EV being their first EV launch, which has become India’s first EV to surpass one lakh cumulative sales. The brand holds about 66 percent of the overall Indian EV market, with its vast portfolio that starts with an ex-showroom price of Rs 8 lakh for the Tiago EV, and goes up to 29.48 lakh for the Harrier EV. Tata puts itself in a dominant position in the EV segment with its extensive charging ecosystem.
