Border 2 maintains momentum on second weekend

After a solid launch and a record Republic Day weekend performance, Border 2 maintained momentum into its second week. Is Border 2 a blockbuster?

_Border 2_ has clocked in impressive collection, and the film seems to be unaffected by the release of Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3. The fact that it has consistently minted in double digits for nine days straight also confirm the hold it has on audience.

Globally, the film seems to have crossed the Rs. 350 crore mark. Given that it was mounted on a massive budget of estimated Rs. 275 crore, it is definitely a hit. However, it would need to mint more money to become a blockbuster.

Compared to other high-grossing films, Border 2 is faring well. It has already crossed War 2’s lifetime collection in India. The worldwide collection of the film is more than Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs. 335.99 crores), Drishyam 2 (Rs. 339.89 crores), and RRR Hindi (Rs. 342.12 crores).
