Despite a gradual weekday slowdown, the war drama recorded steady numbers on Day 16, pushing its domestic and global totals into blockbuster territory. In fact, the film zoomed past the Rs. 300 crore mark on its third Saturday domestically, while aiming for Rs 450 crore mark globally.

According to Bollywood Hungama, _t_he film has earned Rs 54.97 crore gross overseas. It mentions that the
total worldwide gross is an impressive Rs 440.55 crore. The overseas earnings of around Rs. 55 crore have propelled its worldwide box office collection to nearly Rs. 428.5 crore nett.
With strong footfalls in mass circuits and sustained weekend traction, the film is now firmly positioned among the biggest Hindi releases in recent years. If it continues the same momentum, Border 2 could comfortably cross the Rs. 330 crore India net milestone. However, the fact that Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’Romeo, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, is set to release on February 13 can affect its collection.
