Border 2 collected around Rs. 4.00 crore on Day 13, taking its India net total to approximately Rs. 290.75 crore as the war drama continues its theatrical run after a strong Republic Day surge.

Border 2, the patriotic war drama starring Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan, has entered the Rs. 400 crore club at the worldwide box office in its 13th day since release, cementing its status as one of the year’s top grossers. The action-packed sequel leveraged the Republic Day holiday week to draw strong early numbers before settling into a more typical second-week trajectory.

Border 2 hits major milestone

After making a strong debut in late January, Border 2 sustained enough momentum to cross the
Rs. 400 crore mark globally within 13 days of release, surpassing several earlier Indian hits in lifetime tally. The film’s total worldwide box office now stands at around Rs. 411 crore, with domestic earnings nearing Rs. 291 crore.

On Day 13 (Wednesday, February 4, 2026), early estimates suggest Border 2 earned approximately Rs. 4.00 crore net in India, contributing to an
overall net tally of about Rs. 290.75 crore. The sequel has now reached this figure after settling into a more typical weekday pattern following its holiday-boosted weekend.

According to occupancy reports, footfalls remained modest overall, with morning and afternoon shows at lower single-digit percentages and a slightly stronger turnout during evening and night screenings, a trend that has characterised the film’s second-week performance across key markets.

Border 2 opened on January 23, 2026, riding the patriotic wave around Republic Day and logging strong early numbers. After a high-impact opening weekend and a robust second weekend, the film has seen a natural decline through the weekdays, yet its cumulative total demonstrates solid audience interest for a mass-oriented war drama.

As it stands, Border 2 is on track to cross the Rs. 300 crore mark in India in the coming days if it maintains momentum through the end of its second week and into the third weekend.
