MTV Splitsvilla 13 winner Jay Dudhane was arrested in Mumbai in connection with a Rs. 4.61 crore fraud case involving alleged cheating and forgery.
Jay Dudhane, a reality TV personality known for winning MTV Splitsvilla 13, was arrested in Mumbai in connection with a Rs. 4.61 crore fraud case, according to police. The arrest followed an FIR from a retired engineer, who alleged that Dudhane and four family members deceived him into purchasing five commercial shops in Thane that were already mortgaged.
According to PTI, Dudhane was taken into custody at Mumbai airport while allegedly attempting to leave the city. Senior police inspector Pravin Mane confirmed the arrest occurred on Saturday.
Dudhane allegedly submitted forged papers to the victim, which included a fabricated bank clearance certificate and a counterfeit demand draft amounting to Rs 4.95 crore. When the bank issued a notice to seize the property, the scam came to light.
Dudhane and his family has been booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Samhita (BNS) for cheating and forgery. This incident happened in less than a month after the model and trainer embarked on a new phase of his life by marrying Harshala in December 2025.
Professionally, Dhudhane rose to fame after winning Splitsvilla 13. He later appeared on Bigg Boss Marathi 3. He has also acted in Marathi films and television.
