A few weeks after we brought you images of a Royal Enfield Interceptor with dual front disc brakes, we have now laid eyes on a half-faired Continental GT with twin front discs. These two bikes are likely out testing the new 750cc engine from Royal Enfield, that is slated to debut sometime in around a year’s time.

  1. Likely using the new 750cc motor, new single-pod display seen too
  2. Fairing seen on Continental GT for the first time
  3. Launch likely in end-2025 or early 2026

Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 spotted testing

This isn’t the first time that we have seen a Continental GT out on test with a semi-fairing but it is the first instance of the bike being spotted with dual front disc brakes. Royal Enfield is known to be working on a larger 750cc engine, which is slated to break cover in the next year or so and a dual front disc set up will complement the extra power this engine is likely to produce.

Royal Enfield’s Continental GT-R race bike wears a small bikini fairing, like the cafe racers of yesteryear and with the launch of this 750cc model, we expect it to be offered on the production-spec bike as well. This bike also comes with different rear suspension units that aren’t gas-charged like the existing Continental GT 650. The tyres, however, are the same as the current model in the form of Vredestein’s Centauro ST.

This test mule is also using a single-pod digital display, although its not visible whether its Royal Enfield’s TFT dash or a digi-analogue cluster. The Bear 650 recently became the first model in RE’s twin-cyl lineup to be equipped with a TFT display and it is likely that this Continental GT 750 also follows suit.

Royal Enfield’s most affordable twin-cylinder models are the Interceptor and Continental GT and these were the first bikes to debut the 648cc motor nearly seven years ago. It now seems like these two will also be the bikes that Royal Enfield will debut its biggest modern-day engine with.

It remains to be seen how Royal Enfield prices these two 750cc models, because the Interceptor and Continental GT have always been the most affordable models in the twin-cylinder lineup. With these two bikes now getting the 750cc motor, the twin cylinder RE pecking order might be in for a mix.
