The Bajaj Freedom 125 stole the show last month and piqued everyone’s interest and curiosity. The month of August too sees some highly anticipated launches, including the return of a beloved classic brand. Here’s everything you need about bikes set to launch in August.
Royal Enfield Classic 350
Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 is due for an update and expected to launch with new features. We broke this news earlier this month about how Royal Enfield was gearing up to update its beloved motorcycle and introduce mild revisions to the variants. Expected to get features such as complete LED lighting (headlight, tail lamp, indicators and pilot lights), adjustable levers, gear position indicator, a USB-C charger and alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. These features will be divided amongst variants and only the highest variant will get all of these features. Apart from these new features, the Classic 350 is expected to remain mechanically unchanged. The Classic 350 is expected to launch on August 12th.
BSA Gold Star
BSA is set to make a comeback and their first launch is expected to be their 652cc single-cylinder motorcycle called the Gold Star. Its motor produces 45hp at 6500rpm and 55Nm at 4000rpm while mated to a five-speed gearbox. The Gold Star is expected to launch on August 15th and will serve as a direct competitor to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
Ola electric bike
Ola has recently released a teaser video of their founder riding a two-wheeler. Yet another teaser image was released showcasing the battery and frame of the upcoming product from the electric manufacturer. Ola is known for launching new products on Independence Day and we suspect another launch in the pipeline for this day. However, it remains to be seen if this will be Ola’s first bike launch of yet another scooter to join their lineup. Ola has announced August 15th as the date that they plan on showcasing their product.
TVS scooter launch
TVS has been hard and we’ve been speculating what their next launch will look like. Rumored to be working on a CNG powered Jupiter and an updated NTorq. We don’t know the exact details just yet, but TVS has reached out to us with an invite for August 20th. It remains to be seen which of these products TVS could be launching at the mentioned date.
