Ever since the names in the controversial The Epstein Files have begun surfacing on social media, people have been for a shock. The file has also named two people from the Hindi film industry- Anurag Kashyap and Mira Nair. The former has denied any of his involvement. And there are some influential and powerful people named from Hollywood too.

The abiding controversial couple has not been named the way the other people have been. The former royal couple was not directly involved with the late sexual offender. There’s something more to it.

The names have appeared because of a prank phone call instigated by a group that claimed to be part of environmental activist’s Greta Thunberg’s team. The call was made by pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov.

King Charles III on the files

King Charles III has said he is “ready to support” the police if contacted over fresh allegations involving his brother, ex-prince Andrew, as UK authorities review claims linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Monday that the monarch would cooperate with investigators if asked, after police said they were assessing misconduct allegations stemming from newly surfaced files connected to the late American sex offender.

At the centre of the scrutiny are claims that Andrew, formally known as Mr Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, may have 
passed on sensitive information to Epstein during his time as a UK trade envoy. The former prince has long denied wrongdoing, but the renewed attention has once again pulled the royal family into an uncomfortable public spotlight.
