Following the launch of the Cayenne Electric, Porsche has confirmed that it will also bring its coupe-SUV equivalent, the Cayenne Coupe Electric, in 2026, with more derivatives under development. This means more variants, perhaps hardcore GTS trims, for the electric SUVs are on the docket.

While Porsche has yet to take the wraps off the Cayenne Coupe Electric officially, we expect it to feature a sloping coupe-roofline, unlike its standard SUV counterpart, similar to the design distinction between the ICE-powered Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe. Like with all coupe SUVs, expect a marginal difference in overall rear seat and boot space.

Moreover, the Cayenne Coupe is expected to carry over a similar interior layout to the Cayenne Electric. It would likely get the same three-spoke steering wheel, the digital driver’s display, 14.5-inch curved infotainment system, and possibly optional extras like the 14.9-inch passenger display and a heads-up display (HUD) with augmented reality (AR). Expect the features list to be similar to the standard version, which gets features like 8-way powered front seats, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, and a premium sound system.

Likely to share battery and powertrain with the Cayenne Electric SUV
While powertrain specifications of the Cayenne Coupe Electric are not yet available, it is likely to be powered by the same battery packs as the standard version. The Cayenne Electric is powered by a 113kWh battery pack with a dual-motor setup and AWD as standard. While the standard electric model produces 408hp and 835Nm of torque, the Turbo version produces 1,156hp and 1,150Nm of torque, and gets a claimed range of 642km for the former and 623km for the latter.

Since the coupe is slightly more expensive than the standard version when it comes to the ICE-powered Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe, expect the Cayenne Coupe Electric to be priced higher than its standard version. Prices could range between Rs 1.8 crore – Rs 2.3 crore (ex-showroom).
Currently, the Cayenne Coupe is sold in India in ICE form, with prices starting from Rs 1.44 crore and going all the way up to Rs 1.95 crore for the Cayenne GTS Coupe.
