In his post on “X”, PM Modi wrote that India and the US are close and natural friends and that he too, looks forward to speaking with President Trump soon.

The exchange marks the second such between the two leaders over the last few days. Over the weekend, Trump said that he will always remain friends with PM Modi and that such issues happen in relationships. PM Modi had responded to Trump’s remarks back then as well.
Additionally, sources have also told CNBC-TV18 exclusively that India and the US officials are likely to have an exchange of trade delegations soon and that both officials are likely to have an in-person meeting later this month.
