With the festive season slowing in November 2025, all car manufacturers have recorded a decline in monthly sales, while the year-on-year (YoY) sales have increased by a considerable margin. Maruti Suzuki maintained its top spot on the podium in November 2025, and Mahindra reclaimed second position from Tata Motors.

1. Maruti Suzuki
Sales: 1,55,317 units, Change: +19 percent YoY
Maruti Suzuki retained its top spot in the manufacturer-wise sales in November 2025 with total sales of 1,55,317 units. Despite recording 19 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth, Maruti’s month-on-month (MoM) sales fell by 83,674 units in November compared to October 2025. Notably, the manufacturer recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in October 2025, mainly driven by the festive season and price cuts resulting from new GST rates.
2. Mahindra
Sales: 54,005 units, Change: +20 percent YoY
Mahindra reclaimed its second podium spot from Tata Motors in November 2025, with total sales of 54,005 units, over 2,000 units more than the latter. Like Maruti Suzuki, it recorded YoY growth of 20 percent, while its MoM sales fell by 24 percent, as it sold over 67,000 units in October 2025. While the Scorpio nameplate continues to be Mahindra’s bestseller, the Thar Roxx and Thar 3-door have also picked up a lot of sales in November 2025.
3. Tata
Sales: 51,672 units, Change: +22 percent YoY

Tata Motors was the second-best-selling manufacturer in September and October 2025, but it dropped to the final podium spot in November 2025. However, it continued to sell over 50,000 units (51,672 units to be precise), resulting in 22 percent YoY growth compared to November 2025.
4. Hyundai
Sales: 49,295 units, Change: +9 percent YoY
Hyundai maintained its fourth position in November 2025, posting a brisk 9 percent YoY growth with total sales of 49,295 units. These sales are majorly driven by the Creta, Venue, Exter and Aura, followed by Hyundai’s other models.
5. Toyota
Sales: 27,660 units, Change: +27 percent YoY
Toyota, with total sales of 27,660 units in November 2025, posted a 27 percent YoY increase. However, like other manufacturers, it recorded a 6,888-unit (25 percent) MoM sales decline. The Innova nameplate that houses both the Hycross and Crysta models, along with the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, remained key contributors to the month.
6. Kia
Sales: 23,675 units, Change: +24 percent YoY

In November 2025, Kia crossed the 20,000-unit sales mark with a total sales of 23,624 units. This resulted in 24 percent YoY growth compared to November 2024. The MoM sales, however, declined by 30 percent, with the Korean manufacturer recording total sales of 32,738 units in October 2025. The Sonet was the largest contributor to Kia’s November 2025 sales, followed by the Carens nameplate that also houses the Carens Clavis MPV, and the Seltos mid-size SUV.
7. Skoda
Sales: 5,941 units, Change: +90 percent YoY
Skoda recorded the highest YoY growth of 90 percent in November 2025, the highest for any manufacturer for the month, with total sales of 5,941 units. Currently, Skoda’s Indian portfolio includes the Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia, Kodiaq and the recently launched Octavia RS.
8. MG
Sales: 5,754 units, Change: +32 percent YoY
MG has also crossed the 5,000-unit sales mark in November 2025, selling a total of 5,754 units. This has led the carmaker to post a 32 percent YoY rise in sales in November. These figures include sales of both the ICE and EV offerings, including the Hector, Astor, Gloster, Windsor, Comet and ZS EV.
9. Honda
Sales: 5,204 units, Change: +4 percent YoY

Honda recorded sales of 5,204 units in November 2025, a 4 percent YoY increase. That said, its MoM sales declined by 27 percent as it sold over 7,000 units in October 2025. Currently, Honda sells the 2nd- and 3rd-generation Amaze models, along with the City and Elevate cars in India.
10. Renault
Sales: 3,662 units, Change: +30 percent YoY
Renault sold 3,662 units in November 2025, 1,379 units fewer than in October 2025. Although monthly sales fell, Renault recorded a 30 percent YoY increase. The Kiger and Triber sub-4m offerings majorly drove the November 2025 sales.
