USA president Donald Trump did not hide his feelings as he criticised singer Bad Bunny and the Super Bowl halftime show in a length post on the social media.

USA president Donald Trump has heavily criticised Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny appearing in the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday. Bad Bunny, who sang exclusively in Spanish, was part of a halftime show that also included Lady Gaga and a wedding.

Super Bowl LX was won by the Seattle Seahawks, who defeated the New England Patriots 29-13. Seahawks’ Jason Myers set a Super Bowl record with five field goals while Kenneth Walker III was named the Super Bowl 2026 MVP.

Trump slams Bad Bunny, Super bowl halftime show

But it was not just the on-field action, but also the
halftime show that made the headlines. It included a wedding in which Bad Bunny served as the witness. Reportedly, Bad Bunny was invited to the couple’s wedding, but the singer asked them to do it during halftime.

The wedding took place as Bad Bunny and Lady Gaga sang “Baile Inolvidable”.

Trump, however, was super unhappy with Bad Bunny appearing at the Super Bowl and singing Spanish songs. He said that Bad Bunny’s appearance was a “slap in the face” of USA.

“Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the USA, and all over the World,” Trump said on social media.

“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country,” said Trump while adding that it is “setting new standards and records” daily.

“There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD,” he further said.

Interestingly, Trump decided
not to attend Super Bowl 2026 after Bad Bunny was announced as a performer for the halftime show. Trump had become the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl while in office in 2025.
