Nissan’s upcoming launches revealed
The carmaker will bring three all-new models by 2027

For 2026, Nissan has confirmed three new launches for the Indian market. First, the Gravite compact MPV will arrive in showrooms by March 2026. Essentially a badge-engineered version of the Renault Triber, the Gravite will differentiate itself through a redesigned exterior and a different interior colour scheme. The Gravite will likely share the Triber’s 1.0-litre petrol engine, which will be mated to either a manual or an AMT gearbox.
In February 2026, Nissan will showcase its Creta rival, the Tekton. The Tekton shares its CMF-B platform with the Renault Duster, and will share its petrol powertrain options, too. The carmaker has also stated that it will bring a 7-seater SUV, based on the Tekton’s platform, in 2027. The SUV would likely be a badge-engineered version of the Renault Bigster/Boreal sold abroad.
Nissan’s price increase announcement comes at a time when brands like Mercedes-Benz, BYD, and MG have also announced price hikes due to rising input costs or increasing conversion rates.
