Hyundai is readying the new Venue for its launch in India on November 4, 2025, and it has revealed some details, including the exterior and interior design of the sub-4m SUV. The Korean marque has also unveiled the variants, engine and gearbox, and colour options of the Venue, which include nomenclature updates and fresh hues, along with a new gearbox option.

A total of 5 engine and gearbox options to choose from
The second-generation Venue continues with the 83hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 120hp, 1-litre turbo-petrol, and the 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine options that were offered in the previous-generation model. However, one small (and likeable) update is that the compact SUV now gets a diesel-automatic option, something that was missing in the older model. This powertrain combination is available with the mid-spec HX 5 and top-spec HX 10 variants.
The naturally aspirated petrol engine is offered with only a 5-speed manual gearbox in all variants except the higher-spec HX 7, HX 8 and HX 10 trims. The more potent turbo-petrol engine is unavailable in the HX 4, HX 6T and HX 7 variants, with the HX 5 and HX 8 offering choices between both manual and DCT options with this engine.
The diesel, like the other powertrain options, is available with the entry-level HX 2 trim, with a manual transmission.
2025 Hyundai Venue colour options
6 monotone and 2 dual-tone exterior colour options available
Hyundai is offering the Venue with 6 monotone exterior colour options: Mystic sapphire (new), Hazel blue (new), Dragon red (new), Atlas white, Titan grey and Abyss black. Among these, the Atlas white and Hazel blue hues are available as a dual-tone option with an abyss black roof in all variants except the lower-spec HX 2, HX 4 and HX 5 trims.
The HX 2 trim is available only with Abyss black and Atlas white themes, and the HX 4 introduces the Mysic sapphire and Titan grey colours to the mix. The HX 5 is being offered with all the monotone colour options, while from the HX 6 trim, you can opt for the dual-tone exterior colour options as well.
3 interior colour options, including a dual-tone hue
The interior colours differ as per the chosen variant as well. The base-spec HX 2 variant gets an all-black cabin theme, while the HX 4, HX 5, HX 6 and HX 6T get a beige theme inside. The higher-spec HX 8 and HX 10 trims get the flagship navy blue and grey interior theme.
