Hyundai has refreshed the i20 hatchback trim lineup by bringing back the ‘Era’ trim. Moreover, the carmaker has revised prices for the mid-level Magna Executive and Magna trims. The starting price of the i20 is now more affordable by about Rs 74,000 with the reintroduction of the Era trim.

Magna Executive and Magna trims priced from Rs 6.86 lakh and Rs 7.12 lakh respectively
The i20 base Era trim is priced from Rs 5.99 lakh. Prices for the Magna Executive and Magna trims of the i20 have been slashed by Rs 13,000. For an additional Rs 15,000, Hyundai is offering a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a rear-view camera as dealer-level fitment backed by a 3-year warranty.
The Era trim features six airbags, a digital instrument cluster, front and rear skid plates, body coloured ORVMs and door handles, type-C port, and telescopic steering adjustment. No features have been added for the already existing Magna Executive and Magna trims, however.
Powering the Hyundai i20 is a sole 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 83hp (88hp with CVT) and 115Nm of torque. The engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The i20 goes against the likes of the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Tata Altroz.
