A new video has emerged that shows the Australian police subduing shooters who attacked a Jewish gathering in Sydney.

The video shows both the shooters converging at a location where both of them fell after being shot. One of them died from injuries and the other was taken into custody after being injured.

The shooters, who have been identified as a 50-year-old father and 24-year-old son, on Sunday attacked a Jewish celebration of Hanukkah at Bondi Beach in Australia’s Sydney. At least 15 persons have been confirmed dead and 38 persons remain hospitalised with injuries — many of them in critical condition. The Australian government has declared it as an antisemitic act of terrorism.

The police have confirmed that the father was shot dead and the son was taken into custody. He remains in hospital under police guard. Watch the video below in which the police are seen subduing the duo.

Of the two, the father was an immigrant who arrived in the country in 1998 and the son is an Australia-born citizen, according to Home Minister Tony Burke.

The authorities have said that they intend to charge the surviving son for the massacre. They have not yet formally named the father and the son.

The Bondi Beach shooting is the worst in Australia since 1995 when a lone gunman killed 25 and injured 18 others in and around Port Arthur, Tasmania. The massacre led to stricter gun controls in the country that nearly banned all fully automatic or semiautomatic guns.

In the Bondi Beach shooting, the father had licences for six guns and a total of six were recovered from the scene and two searched properties, according to The New York Times.
