Brooklyn wrote- “Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.”
Legendary footballer David Beckham and his wife Victoria haven’t had a fruitful relationship with their son Brooklyn Beckham and the feud in the family is no longer a secret. It’s now all in the public eye. And the conflict in the family has only intensified as Brooklyn has served his estranged parents a legal notice as per reports circulating on social media. More about that later.
Beckham’s son has dropped another shocker and made some explosive revelations against his parents that has to do with his wedding with Nicola. Brooklyn wrote- “Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.”
He added, “They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.”
Nicole and her emotional breakdown
“It wasn’t appropriate. Nicola ran from the room crying. Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn’t understand was why.”
Promotions over everything else
“My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family ’love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”
What was the legal notice about?
Victoria Beckham has made attempts to reconcile with her son by tagging in on social media and the notice prevents his parents to do so. According to The Sun US, Brooklyn first issued a letter to David and Victoria last summer, requesting that all communication be handled exclusively through lawyers.
A source was quoted saying, “Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heartbreaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents. The reality is that he issued them a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, as he wanted to try and make amends privately, not publicly. He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.”
