4×4 variants of the Mahindra Thar Roxx now get a new mocha-coloured interior option. The new mocha shade has been introduced after Mahindra recevied and noted the feedback regarding the SUV’s off-white interior, which was prone to get dirty, especially during off-road activities.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: booking, delivery details
While almost all Mahindra dealers have collected a decent number of bookings, official bookings for the Thar Roxx will commence tomorrow, October 3, 2024, at 11am, online. The booking amount is set at Rs 21,000 for the Thar Roxx. Dealers have hinted at deliveries commencing by late October, which is in line with Mahindra’s official announcement today about a similar delivery timeline; however, this timeline is for SUVs equipped with the ivory (off-white) interior. Customers opting for the new mocha interior will have their Thar Roxx delivered by January next year.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: powertrain, 4×4 tech
The Roxx’s 4WD variants come only with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, whose power figure varies based on whether it is paired with the 6-speed manual (152hp/330Nm) or the 6-speed torque converter automatic (175hp/370Nm). The Thar Roxx petrol is 2WD only, and comes with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine in two states of tune – 162hp/330N for the manual and 177hp/380Nm for the automatic.
