Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has slammed speculations of him being part of the group that who revolt led to the ouster of Xabi Alonso as head coach. He used some harsh words for the people who have been circulating these reports, urging fans not to believe them.

Xabi Alonso’s reign as Real Madrid manager came to an end just seven months into his reign after the Los Blancos were defeated by arch-rivals Barcelona in the Super Cup final. More than the defeat, it was the divide in the dressing room that led to Alonso’s departure from Madrid.

Bellingham hits back at ‘sources’

Reports have been doing rounds of Real Madrid’s dressing room being a divided house under Alonso. Some of these reports also hinted at Bellingham being among the players who were uncomfortable with Alonso at the helm of things.

However, the England international has shut down these rumours with some harsh words.

“Until now I’ve let far too many of these slide, always hoping the truth will come to light in its own time,” Bellingham wrote on his own app named JB5. “But honestly… what a load of s***.”

“Truly feel sorry for the people that hang onto the every word of these clowns and their ‘sources’,” Bellingham added. “Do not believe everything you read, every now and then these lot need to be held accountable for spreading this kind of damaging misinformation for clicks and added controversy.”

Bellingham had also wished luck to Alonso on his Instagram account when the
Spaniard was relieved of his duties at Madrid.

“Thank you, Mister. It was a pleasure, all the very best for the future,” the Englishman had written.

In his 22 appearances under Alonso, Bellingham scored six goals and also registered five assists.

Former defender Alvaro Arbeloa has now been appointed as the interim head coach at Real Madrid.
