Apart from a power bump, the EV3 GT and EV4 GT come with bespoke chassis tuning, electronically adjustable dampers, improvements in cornering stability, and high-performance tyres on 20-inch alloy wheels. The models also feature a simulated gearshift function, as seen on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. There’s also a GT drive mode that fine-tunes the steering feel, suspension, and power delivery for a more engaging driving experience. The interior of the EV3 GT and EV4 GT comes with sporty bucket seats and a three-spoke steering wheel from the EV6, along with neon-green accents.

While Kia has not confirmed all its battery capacity, it is expected to feature the 88.1kWh battery pack offered with the standard EV5. Additionally, the EV5 includes performance tyres, customised chassis tuning, and electrically adjustable dampers with a “road preview system” that adjusts the suspension in response to upcoming bumps and curves. Production of the all-new GT versions of the models will begin in Q2 2026, with the models being sold for the European market. Speaking to our sister publication Autocar UK, Kia Europe’s planning boss, Alex Papapetropolous, stated that adding GT models across its lineup is proof that, unlike some competitors, the GT is not treated like a one-off. “We go beyond just offering enhanced power. With EVs, it’s easy to offer enhanced power, but we want GT to take a more 360-degree approach,” he said. “So for us, GT models are about more than just extra power. We have hardware to deliver everyday emotion – and we want to deliver that in a sophisticated way,” he added.

A launch for the Indian market is not on the cards yet. However, Kia had filed eight EV nameplate trademarks in India, suggesting considerations for a future launch. Meanwhile, Kia is expected to bring the Syros EV in Q2 2026.
