The MY26 Jeep Meridian SUV has been launched in India with a new second-row sliding function on the higher-spec Limited (O) and Overland trims. However, prices of all the trims remain the same as before.
- Second-row seats can slide between 130-140mm
- Jeep claims this helps in improving 3rd row space
MY26 Jeep Meridian: What’s new?
Everything is the same except for new sliding seats on the higher trims
The top trims, Limited (O) and Overland, which start at Rs 30.01 lakh and Rs 35.61 lakh respectively, now come with a manually sliding second-row function. This works with the 60:40 split seat layout, where two-thirds of the seat area can be adjusted by up to 130mm, while the remaining one-third can slide up to 140mm. Jeep claims that the new feature helps to improve the third-row space in the Meridian, which has been a major concern for the SUV in our experience.
However, on the lower-spec Longitude and Longitude Plus trims, the second-row sliding seat function is unavailable.
The update does not change the SUV’s prices
Here are the detailed prices of the Jeep Meridian SUV:
Notably, the base-spec Longitude comes with only 5 seats, while the other trims get 7 seats.
