Jawa 42 colour launched: What’s new?
It features fresh retro-inspired decals
The new pastel Ivory finish adds a beige tone to the 42’s existing broad palette. It features fresh retro-inspired decals, including a ‘forty-two’ script across the fuel tank and rear fender, along with contrasting ‘42’ graphics on the side panels and headlight nacelle. The brand says, a chequered flag motif on the teardrop fuel tank is a nod to classic racing motorcycles of the 1960s and ’70s. The silhouette, offset instrument console and overall bodywork remain unchanged.
The Jawa 42 Ivory continues to be powered by the same 294cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 27.3hp and 26.8Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The addition of Ivory takes the Jawa 42’s total colour options to 15, with prices differing based on the shade. Priced at Rs 1.85 lakh, it sits towards the top of the range, which starts at Rs 1.59 lakh.
