Is this a fiasco on the part of the makers or a meticulous decision not to reveal what they have made for the sequel that releases on March 19

The teaser and the cliffhanger of part one of Dhurandhar promised a backstory of Ranveer Singh’s character.

The teaser reveals
Ranveer Singh aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s transformation into Hamza, leaving audiences with a trail of unanswered questions. It hints at the gripping events that force him to infiltrate the most feared gangs, risking everything to seek revenge while protecting his country. His backstory forms the emotional core of Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

But fans have said the teaser of part two is the same as the end credits of part one that they saw in theatres and on Netflix. Is this a fiasco on the part of the makers or a meticulous decision not to reveal what they have made for the sequel that releases on March 19.

It collected over Rs 900 crore at the domestic Box Office. It is now streaming on the OTT giant
Netflix. But unlike the theatrical response, the people who are watching it on Netflix are disappointed and furious.

This is because of muted cuss words and censored scenes that have killed the edge and effectiveness.

One comment read- Netflix is not promoting Dhurandhar much. It’s not on their front page, neither in the rankings.

Simple reason, the makers never thought it will run for this long in the theaters, it’s still earning a lot of money, so they want to encash even this weekend as well, so they would have requested Netflix to lie low. And begin fullscale promotion from Monday.

“NetflixIndia, why have you censored the cuss words in #Dhurandhar? What’s the goddamn point if we can’t enjoy any movie properly? Do you censor cuss words in any English movie? No, right? Then why this discrimination? DISAPPOINTED,” another angry viewer wrote.

A third posted- posted, “The makers have really betrayed us. If you’re just going to mute everything anyway, then why the hell do you even give an A certificate? Indian censorship is a complete joke, nothing else.”
