Israel has targeted Iran’s state broadcaster in Tehran, with the head of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Peyman Jebeli, confirming that parts of the internal premises were hit.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it struck the IRIB complex, describing it in a Persian-language post on X as the “beating heart” of the IRGC’s propaganda and repression apparatus.
Iranian media had earlier reported that several buildings linked to the state broadcaster were attacked. The broadcaster was also hit by Israel during last year’s 12-day Iran-Israel conflict in June.
