These vouchers are in addition to refunds and the government-mandated compensation that the airline is supposed to pay customers for rampant cancellations for over two weeks
IndiGo on Thursday announced that it will offer a voucher worth Rs 10,000 to passengers who were affected by flight disruptions on December 3, 4 and 5.
These vouchers are in addition to refunds and the government-mandated compensation that the airline is supposed to pay customers for rampant cancellations for over two weeks.
In a statement posted on X, the airline said, “IndiGo regrettably acknowledges that part of our customers travelling on December 3, 4, and 5 were stranded for many hours at certain airports and a number of them were severely impacted due to congestion. We will offer travel vouchers worth Rs 10,000 to such severely impacted customers.”
The travel vouchers can be used for any future IndiGo flights and will be valid for a year, the statement added.
