India, Oman set to sign FTA during PM Modi’s visit today

India and Oman are set to sign the India-Oman FTA during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the gulf country on Thursday, December 18.

PM Modi reached Oman on Wednesday, December 17, for the last leg of his three-country four-day foreign visit.

Both the countries are expected to sign the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in Muscat in the evening on December 18.

PM Modi will attend a business forum in Oman today, and interact with the Indian diaspora and students.

He is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tarik in Muscat.
