The Royal Family of Jordan is considered to be the direct descendent of Prophet Muhammad through the line of Imam Hasan, the elder grandson of the Prophet through his daughter Fatima and her husband Ali. King Abdullah is considered to be the 41st descendent of the Prophet and the Crown Prince 43rd.
King Abdullah is also the custodian of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, the third holiest site for Muslims after Mecca and Medina.
This is a developing story.
