“In the heart of Tehran: IDF destroys Ali Khamenei’s underground bunker built beneath the regime’s leadership compound

“Some 50 Air Force fighter jets struck this morning, with precise guidance from Military Intelligence and in coordination with Mossad, the underground bunker of Ali Khamenei, which was built beneath the leadership compound of the Iranian terror regime in the heart of Tehran,” IDF said in the post along with the video of the operation.

IDF said the compound spread across multiple streets and included “many entry points and rooms for gatherings of senior members of the Iranian terror regime.”

“The underground bunker was built beneath the compound and was a secure emergency asset for managing the war by the leader, who was eliminated before he managed to use it,” the IDF added.

The military said that after Khamenei was killed in a strike on Saturday, “the compound continued to be used by senior members of the Iranian regime.”

According to a Times of Israel report, the Military Intelligence Directorate’s Unit 8200 and Unit 9900 — responsible for signals and visual intelligence, respectively — had mapped the site over several years, enabling what the IDF described as a “precise” strike.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have targeted sites within Iran’s “leadership complex” in Tehran multiple times during the conflict.

In the war’s opening strike, the IDF killed Khamenei at his compound, part of the larger complex.

Another strike on a nearby building reportedly killed eight top Iranian officials.

On Tuesday, the IDF said it had hit several additional sites within the complex, including Iran’s presidential bureau and the headquarters of the Supreme National Security Council.
