New Hyundai EV: what to expect?
The teaser image doesn’t reveal much, but only shows a full-width LED light bar and the Hyundai logo just below it. The keen eyed among you will know that the lighting arrangement looks similar to that of the ICE-powered Staria MPV. Moreover, measuring over 5.2 meters in length, the Staria does have the potential to be Hyundai’s biggest EV yet. For reference, Hyundai’s current largest EV, the Ioniq 9, measures just a shade over 5 meters.
Prototypes of the Staria EV have also been spied on test internationally. In terms of design, it is not expected to be very different from the ICE-powered Staria, but will likely have some EV-specific updates. Currently, the Staria is offered with petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrains in markets abroad.
What else will Hyundai showcase at the Brussels Motor Show?
Apart from the all-new EV, Hyundai will also be showcasing the updated Ioniq 6 that was unveiled in April this year. There will also be a dedicated N Zone, where visitors can experience the Ioniq 5 N and the Ioniq 6 N, as well as an interactive arcade gaming corner built around the Insteroid.
