What’s new on the Exter S(O)+, S+?
So far, the single-pane sunroof was available on the Exter from the SX trim onwards. The new S(O)+ trim makes the sunroof more accessible by Rs 37,000 on the manual variants, while the S+ AMT makes it more affordable by Rs 46,000 on the automatic variants.
The Exter is the second-most affordable car in the market to offer a sunroof, coming only behind the Tata Altroz that offers this feature from the XM S trim priced at Rs 7.45 lakh.
Apart from the sunroof, all other features have been carried forward from the trim below it. So, both new trims get a digital instrument cluster, and 8,0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, all power windows, LED DRLs, headlamp escort function, and more.
Safety features include 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, TPMS, ESC, hill-start assist and ABS and EBD as standard. Under the hood, both new trims continue to be powered by the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83hp and 114Nm of peak toque.
