Hillary Clinton has accused US President Donald Trump of “covering up” the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, the deceased sex offender.

“Get the files out. They are slow-walking it. I think everyone should testify who is asked to testify.” Clinton told the BBC.

The former US State Department Secretary’s husband has been featured regularly in the Epstein files. However, there has been no evidence of any wrongdoing in the Clintons’ cases.

‘We will show up’

The couple has been ordered to give closed-door depositions before the House Oversight Committee, which is probing the deceased financier’s connections to powerful figures and how information about his crimes was handled.

“We will show up but we think it would be better to have it in public,” Hillary Clinton said.
