At EICMA 2025, Hero showcased multiple products both under its own banner as well as under that of its electric subsidiary, Vida. Here, we’ll be focusing on the ICE models revealed in the form of the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition and the Hunk 440 SX.

  1. Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition has 270mm ground clearance
  2. Hunk 440 SX gets riding modes and traction control

Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar edition

Has taller suspension and more ground clearance

Just like Hero did with the Xpulse 200, it has revealed a Dakar Edition for the newer 210. This Dakar Edition gets longer-travel suspension with 280mm of travel at both ends with some adjustability baked into it. As a consequence of that, it has a towering 270mm of ground clearance available and seat height will have gone up substantially over the standard Xpulse 210’s 830mm perch, although Hero hasn’t specified by how much exactly.

The rest of the bike stays the same and the 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine makes the same 24.6hp and 20.7Nm of torque as the standard Xpulse.

Hero Hunk 440 SX

SX is the more rugged variant of the Hunk

For the uninitiated, the Hunk 440 is essentially the Mavrick 440 sold overseas but the export-spec model comes with a golden USD fork and a TFT display. Coming to the Hunk 440 SX, it gets numerous visual differences like a flyscreen, a bigger 18-inch front wheel with different wheel designs at both ends, split seats, a different grab rail, longer rear fender, an upswept twin-port exhaust, braced handlebar, a rather large engine guard and a new tail lamp design.

Unlike the export-spec Hunk 440, the Hunk 440 SX comes with a gaitered telescopic fork. The Hunk 440 SX’s design had been trademarked in India nearly a year ago and it is therefore likely to be sold here.

One mechanical change is that the Hunk 440 SX uses an electronic throttle which has permitted Hero to offer riding modes and traction control here, although further specifics haven’t been shared yet.
