The director’s production banner has firmly denied the claims, stating that Bhansali is “absolutely fine” and had only gone for a routine medical check-up.

In a statement released by Bhansali Productions, the filmmaker’s team clarified,  “Reports about SLB being hospitalised are completely false and baseless. There is no truth to them. We request you to kindly refrain from carrying any such stories, as they have no verified source. He is only gone for a routine checkup. Thank you for your understanding.”

Filmmaker in the middle of a busy schedule

On the professional front, Bhansali is currently deeply involved in the filming of his ambitious period drama Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Despite the rumours, sources close to the production have confirmed that work on the film continues as scheduled.
