“We are pleased to inform you that, effective February 12, 2026, all Visa Application Centers for Greece in India will resume operations,” GVCW said in an official announcement
Indians planning to travel to Greece can now restart their visa application process, as Global Visa Center World (GVCW) has announced the reopening of Greece Visa Application Centres across India.
“We are pleased to inform you that, effective February 12, 2026, all Visa Application Centers for Greece in India will resume operations,” GVCW said in an official announcement on Tuesday.
Applicants have been advised to “book their appointments through the designated appointment booking platform” and to “plan accordingly and ensure that all required documentation is prepared prior to their visit,” GVCW said.
Operations had been partially suspended mid-December due to a cyber-incident affecting a subcontractor.
From 12 February, applicants in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kochi, and Kolkata can once again book appointments, submit biometrics, and lodge documents for short-stay C-type visas.
GVCW stated that back-office processing at the Consulate General in Mumbai and the Embassy in Delhi has “fully normalised,” with standard processing times of 15 calendar days.
Priority processing, which guarantees a five-working-day turnaround, will also resume but on a limited quota basis.
