In his latest Instagram post, Gera thanked casting director Mukesh Chhabra for envisioning him as Aalam and trusting him with a character so different from his usual screen persona.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “Have always respected @castingchhabra’s work for years, so getting to collaborate with him on Aalam in #Dhurandhar meant a lot. Given my past roles, this wasn’t the predictable casting… which makes the trust from @adityadharfilms and @castingchhabra all the more meaningful. The film is being loved, and I’m genuinely grateful for the faith and the opportunity.”

He also shared pictures with director Aditya Dhar. Praising him, Gera added, “#Dhurandhar is an extraordinary film that was brought to life by the sheer brilliance of @adityadharfilms! Given its trend, the film is poised to cross Rs. 200 crore by the end of the second weekend. The second instalment of the franchise is already confirmed for release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid.
