Ram Charan was quoted saying, “I don’t take myself too seriously. From eight to six, I do my job religiously. After that I switch off completely. I don’t carry my work with me.”

RRR’ star Ram Charan recently opened up on his work-life balance. The actor was seen in Shankar’s Game Changer last year and has a new film called Peddi coming out this year with Janhvi Kapoor. The debate around work-life balance happened last year when Deepika Padukone spoke about it after quitting Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit.

Ram Charan was quoted saying, “I don’t take myself too seriously. From eight to six, I do my job religiously. After that I switch off completely. I don’t carry my work with me.”

Further, he mentions that there are absolutely no shortcuts in achieving success and establishing an identity. “There are no shortcuts. In any field, hardwork is the only thing that matters,” he says.

On the work front, Ram Charan is all set to shake things up in 2026 with Peddi, an upcoming sports, action drama film. The film is helmed by director Buchi Babu Sana and features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Scheduled for a theatrical release on 27th March 2026, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu.

Ram Charan is set to take the silver screen by storm once again with his highly anticipated 16th film, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. This pan-India spectacle is presented by leading production house Mythri Movie Makers, in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, and is produced by the visionary Venkata Satish Kilaru under his ambitious banner, Vriddhi Cinemas.

Before the real storm hits, the makers released a pre-look poster yesterday, igniting immense curiosity ahead of the first-look reveal. Extending birthday wishes to Ram Charan, they officially unveiled the film’s title as PEDDI. The title encapsulates the power and gravitas of Ram Charan’s character, hinting at something truly monumental.
