Ford has just announced that it will revive its Chennai plant in India for manufacturing all-new, next-generation engines. Ford Motor Company and the Government of Tamil Nadu have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the same. This comes after the American carmaker had submitted a Letter of Intent to the Tamil Nadu Government in September 2024, although the carmaker has not shared exact details of what kind of powertrains will be manufactured here.
