He has Faraar in his kitty, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a Physics professor drawn into a high-stakes heist, alongside Ilia Volok as the antagonist
There are musicians.
There are entrepreneurs.
And then there are rare individuals who understand both rhythm and risk.
Diesel Dan belongs to the third category.
For years, he balanced two parallel worlds. In Sweden, he worked within structured corporate systems, understanding numbers, negotiation and global markets. At the same time, he was building something deeply personal — music that travelled beyond borders.
As the founder of Diesel Artist Network Pvt Ltd, Diesel Dan steadily shaped a platform rooted in ownership and creative control. He did not rush into cinema. He built credibility first.
His international collaboration Bella Ciao with Iván Lacámara, known for his work on Money Heist, became a defining milestone. It was not just recreated. It was composed, recomposed, designed and redesigned to carry a fresh cinematic pulse. That project strengthened Diesel Dan’s cross-border musical identity and proved he could operate on a global canvas.
With Faraar, that global experience found its Indian expression.
The film demanded music that was not ornamental but structural. Music that carried tension, urgency and emotional depth.
The first track came alive through the voices of Sunidhi Chauhan, Sanchari Sengupta and Swedish vocalist Jules Vikström. The composition blends bansuri and tabla with electronic beats, creating a textured fusion of Indian classical sound and contemporary production. It was built and rebuilt until every layer carried weight.
“We did not just tweak it,” Diesel Dan says. “We composed it. We recomposed it. We designed it. We redesigned it. We kept shaping it until it breathed cinema.”
Then came the title track.
Director Kushagruha Sharma wanted something explosive. Something that would define the film’s energy instantly. Diesel Dan approached it like architecture. He built and rebuilt the structure, reshaped the soundscape and sharpened the tempo until it matched the emotional brief. Sung by Siddharth Basrur and Priya Nair, the title track became the musical spine of Faraar.
But his involvement did not stop at music.
Diesel Dan’s entrepreneurial instinct pushed him further. If he believed in the project, he wanted to stand behind it fully. He stepped in as producer alongside Anuj Sharma, with the film produced by Diesel Artist Network Pvt Ltd in association with Thundersky Entertainment.
Faraar stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a Physics professor drawn into a high-stakes heist, alongside Ilia Volok as the antagonist. The film also features Nimisha Sajayan, along with child artistes Trisha and Chehel.
