BMW is sending off the Z4 convertible with the Final Edition. Over the standard Z4, the Final edition gets an exclusive paint job along with Final edition detailing on the inside. BMW has confirmed that there won’t be an immediate successor for the Z4.

BMW Z4 Final Edition details
Gets a matte black paint option and contrast red stitching for the interior
The BMW Z4 Final Edition retains the looks of the standard Z4, but it gets an exclusive ‘Frozen matte black’ finish paint option, M Sport brake callipers in a gloss red paint, and Final Edition branded scuff plates on the door sills.
Like the exterior, the interior is also carried over from the standard Z4, but it comes with contrast red stitching across the interior trims, ‘M’ Sport seats with either leather or Alcantara upholstery, and the ‘M’ steering wheel finished in Alcantara with the same red stitching.
BMW Z4 Final Edition powertrain details
Final Edition is mechanically unchanged from the standard Z4
For global markets, the BMW Z4 is available with a choice of three turbo-petrol engines.
The sDrive20i variant is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 197hp and 320Nm of torque. The sDrive30i gets the same engine as the 20i but produces 258hp and 400Nm of torque.
The top-of-the-line M40i gets a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 340hp and 500Nm of torque. While all the engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the M40i also comes with the option to pair it with a 6-speed manual gearbox
BMW has not revealed whether the Final Edition will be available for the Indian market. However, the Z4 is sold here in the M40i trim only, with prices starting from Rs 87.9 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Pure Impulse edition is priced at Rs 92.6 lakh (ex-showroom), which is available with a manual transmission.
