M Performance Track Kit details
As the name suggests, the M Performance Track Kit has been developed for track use. It adds a manually adjustable front splitter integrated with the front diffuser, fixed wheel-arch diffusers and a scoop below the engine oil cooler. At the rear, there is a manually adjustable wing inspired by the BMW M4 GT4 and M4 GT3 models. The wing can be operated by a Race Mode, which shifts it 50mm rearwards to increase aerodynamic effectiveness, and its angle can also be adjusted in two stages to alter rear downforce; it integrates a brake light too.
The kit also includes a 4-way adjustable dampers, and support bearings. Ride height can be lowered by up to 20mm at both the front and rear. BMW claims the components were developed with inputs from its M division engineers and tested in a wind tunnel.
New exhaust system for M2 CS
The new M Performance exhaust system for the M2 CS get revised routing, enhancing the sound of the inline-six motor. The setup is around 8kg lighter than the standard unit and can be optioned with carbon and titanium tailpipe trims.
